I love reading practically any genres, except historical romance. However, I tend to read more contemporary than fantasy.

The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden (The Coincidence, #1) - Jessica Sorensen Choosing this book was one of the best choice I have made to start off 2013. Besides, having beautiful, eye-catching cover, this book sure had a way to warm my heart. Since the beginning, I knew it was going to be one of my favorite books this year.

It was heartbreaking to read a book on this subject. Who would feel the pain reading about a twelve-year-old being abuse like that? And the fact that it had been done by someone she knew was even more gruesome. Even she had been through hell, Callie became a strong and helpful girl, though she still had problems letting people become close to her.

As for Kayden, I absolutely loved his character. Not because he was hot and charming, but because he was able to stand up for himself in the end. I couldn't imagine myself living in his condition. It was brutal to be treated that way.

The other characters in the book were also very well thought-out. I enjoyed reading about Seth and hope in the next book we can get to know him better. I really eager to find out what really happened to him back in high school. Well, the author did mention that part about him being picked on because of sexuality. However, a little bit more about Seth would be nice.

I was shocked in the last chapter. I really wish the book had not ended that way. We still need to find out what is going to happen to Kayden. Book 2 had better be released quickly. I cannot stand cliffhanger.

Well, this book is very emotional that will twist your mind. I did not cry, though, but I was close to tear in a few scenes. But actual tears, no. I am so going to read book 2 as soon as it is released.
