There is something about this book that made me love it more than the last one. I was afraid at first that it was just going to another retelling from a different POV. However, it proved me wrong and I'm truly happy for that. I so don't want to read another book just from a different POV when there are so many other books to read already.
I got to know Holder better in this book. In the first book, I was heartbroken when I finally found out what had happened to Sky/Hope, and that fact helped when I read this one. It's still a topic I don't want to read, but it didn't hurt that much.
I loved reading what Holder wrote to Les. It was sweet and heart wrenching at the same time.
