Gisbelle

I had mix feelings while reading this one, so by the time I finished, I couldn't make up my mind whether to rate it 2 stars or 3 stars. It might be solely because of Vane that I rated it 3 stars.

I liked that this book was a fast-paced action pack. It was full of secrets that kept me on my toes the whole way through. The twist at the end of the book was shocking. I didn't see it coming.

The characters were okay, I guess. Audra was a confusing character and kinda boring too. I didn't like her POV much. Vane, on the other hand, had made this book a fun read for me. I loved his sense of humor.

The plot, despite having lots of actions and mysteries, was a little disappointing. I still don't know whether it was because of the way the author told the story, or the theme in general. There aren't many books about Sylphs, and this was my first time reading about them, so it took me quite a while just to get familiar with the idea of these paranormal beings.

In short, I think it was an okay book. It could have been better, but it wasn't that bad either.
